Canvs.ai Text Analytics Platform

I spent four years building Canvs.ai, a US platform that helps enterprise teams make sense of open-ended survey responses. I built dashboards with Highcharts, D3 and word clouds, a Storybook design system, Auth0 SSO, pen-test fixes and a batched GraphQL layer. I also built Canvs IQ, the AI chat assistant, and took it from requirements to production.

Shufti Pro Identity Verification

Full-Stack Developer · 2019 – 2021

I spent two years building Shufti Pro, a KYC and identity-verification platform serving 158+ countries. I built the document-annotation tool that labelled training data for its OCR and computer-vision models, real-time video verification with Twilio and WebSockets, and a React Native verification SDK published to npm.

Routr builds software and hardware for fleet operations, including routing and route verification. As a freelancer I was the only developer on their serverless web app, from the Vue.js UI through AWS deployment, with Cognito sign-in, AppSync GraphQL and DynamoDB.

Multimodal Chest X-Ray RAG

Research and full build · Python & React · 2025 – 2026

My MSc dissertation. A fully local RAG system that finds similar chest X-rays among 29,101 MIMIC-CXR images and drafts a radiology report with Mistral 7B. Adding CheXbert label filtering raised retrieval precision from 10.33% to 50.33%, and an ensemble router took it to 60.67%.

    • Built the Canvs IQ Node.js backend on the OpenAI Assistants API, then migrated it to LangChain with function calling and RAG over Qdrant and Pinecone.
